This TGIF Talk Group is assigned to the Carolina 440 UHF Link System Group based in Raleigh, NC. The "Talk Group 440" is used by this group for repeater work and project discussions on the repeater system and general digital communications on Amateur Radio with other DMR users. The Carolina 440 System is used for Emergency Communications with Emergency Management AUXCOMM Communications, NWS SKYWARN Program as a back up, Local CERT Teams, Public Service and Charitable Events.
